We knew this was one of the best butchers in Switzerland but the food was also amazing. The attention to detail, the quality of the ingredients, the friendliness of the staff, the flavours of the food ..... everything was excellent. If you get a chance go to Hatecke and ask for the carpaccio, simple but absolutely top quality. We were... More

My partner & I enjoyed a lovely cake with Mint & English Tea in lovely surroundings overlooking the blue / green lake down below. Service was great & very friendly. A great place to enjoy afternoon tea when in St Moritz

Went and ate here with a group of friends on Saturday last week. The green egg was on, outside. We had great swiss meat and an unbelievable raclette. The produce that this young chef prepares is great, and the restaurant is very stylish and avante garde. I'll come back when I have my next ski trip. all the besT!

The young man who runs Hatecke has a tremendous knowledge of meats, cuts, butchery and, most important, flavor. One half of the restaurant is a display of meats and cuts, as well as the famous air-dried meats of the region. You are given a crash course in cuts and taste, then choose the cut you want. It is grilled outside... More

When we first walked in, it looked like we were entering a butcher shop or deli. But, on the other side of the wall was this small restaurant; a wonderful find on a rainy day. The spicy goulash was delicious. The bread was warm and we ate two baskets full, it was the best we had in all of Switzerland.

I love this place as it is quite small. They sell special dried flesh ! (njam). A very personal and good service. I love to come here.

They have a butcher shop with an excellent reputation in Scuol at the other end of the Engadine valley. The owner's son runs this business with the same high quality of service and - most importantly - of meat. We highly recommend it!

I rarely eat red meat or lamb, but after walking in and seeing how fresh it all was I knew I had to try it. You choose the cut of meat you want and tell them exactly how much you want (based on size or weight). They take the meat and season and grill it outside. The lamb I had was... More

We enjoyed soup and bread here. I had a spicy goulash and my wife had noodle. Her's was best, but mine was good. The noodle soup comprised two huge balls of "dumpling" mixture with bacon, etc. outstanding. My goulash was spicy and salty. The bread was excellent. The place buzzed.
