Near the center of town. Delicious food and wine in cozy atmosphere...Not a long walk....worth finding!

This is an old favourite, albeit under new management who have taken it further upmarket. Having started some 30 years ago as somewhere that was quite cheap and cheerful (well... to the extent that anything in Zermatt can ever be cheap!), it is now decidedly classy, with food and prices to match. But it's a lovely place, with superb food,... More

We visited this restaurant as a family of four. Two of us had rack of lamb which was one of the best lamb we have ever eaten. My son had steak cooked to perfection and my husband had lamb chops which were excellent. The service was friendly and efficient. I would rate this restaurant 9+ out of ten.

The food is very good, particularly the meat specialties. We tried the beef carpaccio and the lamb and really enjoyed it. The wine list is good, with a good balance of local, Italian, Spanish and French wines, all fairly priced. The service is great, and ensures you have a smooth and enjoyable experience. Definitely a must in Zermatt.

We visited twice this winter holidays with a party of 8 People the restaurant. The first evening the food in all courses had been delicious and well served. The ranking here would in a scale o-10 a 8 up to nine. Especially the surf and turf was top. But when we had 7 days later again a dinner with a... More

It is what they are famous for and so it is not a surprise that their lamb dishes are delicious and plentiful - but they have many other delicious dishes for you to choose from.

Food is good, service is fine, but nothing exceptional. There certainly is room for improvement. There are so many great places in Zermatt - this is not my on my top 10 list of restaurants. We went in summer. I've heard it is better during winter.

This is more of a foodie place where presentation matters given the Michelin notation. We ordered again off the seasonal menu and choose the venison and deer loin and filets with the same typical accompaniments. (i.e. red cabbage, Brussel sprouts, spätzle) and the tomato soup. Both were excellent with presentation and cost the biggest difference from the similar bistro meal... More

We didn't check tripadvisor prior going to this restaurant but maybe we should have. As many people pointed out, the food is ok but the service is poor and annoying and it's rather expensive.
