This is quite a large smart establishment with a sizeable outdoor terrace. Of course Italian cuisine is very popular in Zürich and you certainly won’t be lacking for choice if Italian food is what you’re looking for but his restaurant is aimed squarely at locals rather than tourists and I can imagine is as popular for social gatherings as it... We came here as a larger crowd with the extended family (table was reserved for us) the place is very well frequented by the local crowd who are to a larger extend from various retirement homes and a few families from near by too. That might scare the one or the other away e.g. if you're looking for an Italian... More

My meal was too salty. The waiter took it back, but opened a long discussion about what too salty means and that everybody has another feeling about too much salted meals. At the end I felt bad about my complaint. However, the replacement meal was good at the end.

This place is our local pizzeria cum trattoria and I can't rate it too highly. The pizzas are baked in a wood oven and are pretty decent - we often go there for takeaway. The eat-in menu is quite extensive, often they have a seasonal menu which combines Italian style dishes using seasonal ingredients. They also do some Swiss standards... More

Pizza, italian food (fish or meat) and the salats are exellent. The staff is very competent an allways friendly (as guests that come every second month, they allways recognize us). Reservation is recommanded. In summer you dine in the garden

Not the cheapest one but the food is absolutely worth its price. Whether you go for a wood-stove-pizza, pasta or meat, everything is absolutely delicious! Ruedi - the man in charge - is very helpful and makes its possible to satisfy all guests. The restaurant is well attended most of the evenings, it's therefore recommended to book a table in... More

Charming service, great and authentic Italian food (take the fish platter and the Torta della Nonna for dessert!) It is also rather cheap by Zurich standards. This is one of the few places in the Albisrieden neighbourhood worth taking the tram for. It is also child-friendly and can be quite romantic in summer, when you can sit outside.
