This is a tiny and cozy restaurant offering excellent Italian specialties. Small menu but always offering market fresh and seasonal specials. Reservations required because of the small number of seats.

We had seen this cute little restaurant way last year while passing on a cold winters night, it looked warm and cosy and every little table was full. We managed to get a table for 2 and were looking forward to the experience, when we arrived everyone was already sipping wine and edgily eating away at all the home cooked... More

I was here in a group of 20-ish people celebrating a school reunion, and had a wonderful evening. The food was superb, particularly in view of the size of the group, and the atmosphere is wonderful, it's like being at a friend's house. I'll definitely come back as an individual to sample some more of the food.

I come once a month, each time I have to call quite a bit in advance to get a table. But Carlo does his best to make everything possible. The location in Seefeld is very urban. Inside dining like in the masters livingroom, outside on the pavement as cozy. The handwritten menue each time differnt. The service extremely charming. But... More

I'm almost reluctant to write a review of this little neighbourhood restaurant which is one of our favourites in Zurich! Its a hidden gem known mainly by locals. It's small, charming and intimate. Best of all is the delicious food which comes straight the chef's heart. Expect seasonal, delicious food- nothing is just run of he mill here! A little... More

We went to have dinner with a friend at Cucina e Libri. The restaurant is small and cosy with a nice decoration, full of books, candles and rustic furniture. The waitress was very nice and patient. The starter bread was warm and tasty. I thought, very good sign! Then, I ate ravioli with chicken filling and my husband got faraona... More

We have spent several wonderful evenings in this tiny little paradise. Nothing extravagant, no luxury and no millionaires, just hundreds of cooking books, 8 tables and fantastic food! Carlo, the owner and cook keeps it simple and invites you regularly to culinary excursions, with and without motto. An absolute recommendation for anyone who enjoys excellent taste of food and wine... More

This is our favorite little gem in Zurich. A little library with only a few tables. Unsophisticated but great food and atmosphere. The dishes are always seasonal, simple but extremely rich in flavors. The journalist-turned-chef Carlo Bernasconi has managed to create a unique place, a place that does not pretend to compete with Michelin-starred restaurants, but that will conquer your... More

Similar to my favorite Cafi Dihei - Cucina e Libri is small and very cozy. The 8 tables are all wooden and have a white cover with candles. The food is first class Italian (Piemont) style and is cooked by the chef himself. You are seated next to a library with cook books and you will be served by a... More
