This was a nice find by the train station - neither a fast food/ cafe type place, nor a very high-end, fancy restaurant. It is small, only ten tables or so, perhaps less. The menu features regional specialties and, the special our evening, nasi goreng. (I don't know if the cook is Indonesian or Malaysian, but I opted for something... More

The chicken and pasta dish was very good. The four of us all enjoyed what we ordered and the beer was excellent. It was just around the corner from the Walhalla Hotel which made it very convenient.

We arrived very hungry and tired after a lengthy day trip, so we thought we check out this restaurant next to our hotel. The staff was friendly and the place had a local atmosphere and we were happy to find some vegetarian choices on the menu, so we both ordered a veggie burger. When served, this turned out to be... Good chicken dish with fried potatoes , fresh pasta was delicious . A bit pricey and house wine wasn't great but ok overall.

This restaurant was close to our hotel, and our second choice for the evening (first closed at 6 - hmmmmm). Anyway, while it had an english menu on the outside, they had none at the tables. Not to worry. Some words like bratwurst, schnitzel, soup, etc are easy to figure out. The service was good, although the males who ordered... More

Wahalla Hotel offeres a discount for Subito, but if it's closed you can still get the discount at this place next door. I believe it has the same menu and possibly the same kitchen. Good food and not expensive by Swiss standards.

For two persons, the cost of cheese fondue mit brot was 58. Bottled water was about the price of wine and beer. No ambience.... wanted something authentic and was disappointed.

We just got off the train from the airport, and had a 1 hour wait for our next train. This cafe/restaurant is on the wrong side of the tracks, as it were - leave the station from the back entrance. It is very good value, has excellent salads, and cheerful waitresses. We sat outside, and enjoyed the ambiance - this... More

Modern meets traditional meets charactor. Good service, bistro style food from Italian favourites to Swiss traditional to excellent wholesome salads, all washed down with a local ale. My new favourite for lunch time rondezvous! Prices not bad for Zurich and location is next to mainstation and tram stop.

The St.Gallerhof is adjacent to the main station at the tram stop Sihlquai (Tram 4 and 13). In this small, cosy restaurant with a large summer terrace, we offer a solid good Central European cuisine, deliciously prepared. We also offer a range of fine wines all of which are available by the glass. Every day there is a homemade dessert and various daily specials. Guests will appreciate the fast and friendly service of all employees.
