The various guide books we read on Zürich all recommended a stop at Confiserie Sprüngli. It was nice to see that the café had a mix of locals and tourists. If the locals go there it must be good… and it was. It was difficult to choose from the amazing selection of cakes and pastries. Even their specialty Luxemburgerli macarons... More

Tried their famous macarons and loved it. On par with Laduree. Didn't get to try their chocolates though.

It's a must in Zurich, take some sweets and a Tea, Coffee or a hot Chocolate. Take a break at the end of the Bahnhofstrasse and go to shoping again.

Amazing experience - good service, melt in mouth goodies. Not to miss. A visit to Zurich is incomplete if you don't go here!

We went there for the Sunday's breakfast buffet. We had Spruengli Zopf, rolls, croissants and brioches fresh from the oven with jams,Swiss honey, premium heeses and meats from the region, ham, bacon and sausages, smoked salmon, home-made savoury spreads, egg dishes, freshly made birchermuesli, yoghurt with muesli and cornflakes, different pastries, fruit and juices. I also often go there with... More

Yammi Yammi, very good but higher price segment. One can not pass this shop, because it looks so nice thru the shop windows and the smell of sweeties is extrem for your feelings. Once you tried the chocolate and the Luxenburgerli in selectable different tastes:YOU ARE LOST IN PARADISE!

Three days in Zurich, equalled 3 times at Sprungli. The first time I had lunch by myself while my husband was working. I had the Chicken Saltamboca with a salad. And then, the iced coffee with ice cream after. Oh, my, it was huge!! The next 2 afternoons, my husband and I shared a dessert and had coffee. The food... More

The cocolates are every bit as good as people say... regardless, I never like macaroons until I tried their Luxemburgli - I recommend the champagne and rasberry flavors. Oh my lord the joy!

The smell when you enter the shop is just heavenly chocolaty. Our all time favourites are the "Truffles Cru Savage" and "Truffles Grand Cru".
