This is a typical swiss restaurant with local food and many different options. Do not expect high cuisine or delicatessen dishes, this is more big portions and nothing refined. But don't get me wrong, it is nice to visit, plenty of options, good quality food overall and important, the price is ok for the most expensive city in the world,... More

For our first meal in Zurich it was fun to eat in this old armory. My partner had sausage and rosti-which she enjoyed. I had a traditional dish of veal and mushrooms in cream sauce which was really bland. If we went back I'd get the schnitzel or roast pork instead. Be aware that they put bread on the table,... More

An old arsenal, this traditional Keller has everything from ballista to Bofors on the walls, with good, fast, traditional Swiss German food served with precision, good humour and speed. Vorsprung durch Bratwurst!

Customer service was great. We did not feel hustled by the waiters. The sausage with potatoes and cheese were good. I did not find it to be delicious but mostly average. You love beer and sausage, this is a place to go. The tomato soup was delicious. For two people the overall meal was about $60.00. Remember Zurich is not... More

Big place with plenty of seating, friendly staff who recommended popular dishes for tourists. Portion is big. Reasonably priced.

It's right off of the Bahnhofstrasse (near Louis Vuitton and Hermes), so you can walk off your heavy meal by the lake. The waiters were extremely friendly and always smiling. The food was fine - the roesti was a little dry so I wish I had gotten potato salad instead, but everything else was good. I thought it would be... More

Nice place, we ate outside which was pleasant. The food was good and the portions generous. We ordered a couple of medium beers which were fine but the next time the waiter asked if we wanted a large beer. The size difference between medium and large is massive. Basically this 1 litre stein arrived in front of me. Still, all... More

Been there with 4 friends. Loved the food & beer. This restaurant has a perfect decoration, and service was great. The only problem was air conditioning.

As long as you have no qualm about eating veal (I do not) you can't miss this Wiener schnitzel. It's so tender that it melts in your mouth. I've had a lot of schnitzel in my time and must admit this was the best. The atmosphere is typically German with a big brewery feel, crowded tables and beer galore, so... More
