My boyfriend and I stayed at the hotel and decided to try this restaurant. They were able to get us in without a reservation even though they were fully booked. We have experienced many Michelin star restaurants throughout our travels and this restaurant is truly...on par. The food was amazing, the service was incredible, and the atmosphere was top notch. They not only have the most incredible food, but also an incredible wine selection. We can’t wait to come back!More

I was invited here for a surprise dinner and I really enjoyed the food and service! We ordered two different types of fish, which were excellent and came preceded by a tasty salad with pomegrenate. Good choice of desserts and wines. The waiter in charge...Ercan, together with his assistants Nic and Marcel were competent and friendly.More

Nun, sehr schöner Ort, bei unserem Besuch leicht understaffed für die Preisklasse. Weinservice nicht aufmerksam, aber sonst sehr angenehme Atmosphäre Well, very nice place, slightly understaffed for the price range when we visited. Wine service not attentive, but otherwise very pleasant atmosphere.

We planned a dinner with friends for a mid-week catching up and selected the restaurant for the central location. The setting is good and quiet on the first floor but the rest is not up to the expectations. The menu is in English and French...but do not expect anyone from the staff to understand when you ordering in French; the bread is served from the tray but do not expect to receive an offer for a second roll; the amuse Bouche (fried mozzarella) is served cold; the dessert trolley is not for all guests (maybe we should have asked instead of waiting for it); the prices of the dishes are well above Zurich standards nice restaurants.More

I first visited La Soupiere for breakfast five years ago. I had little time because I had to catch a flight. But the bright and airy room, fine cuisine and excellent service made me want to come back and linger a little longer. 5 years...later, I did...and I am staying for three days, celebrating past birthdays which happened under pandemic lockdowns. I am glad that I am here. Breakfast is as lovely as always. A great and varied selection. Efficient service amid crisp linens and sunny ambiance. Dinner tonight, was extraordinary! A delicious feast of white asparagus, Veal Zurich style and almond financiers with raspberry sorbet. Encan, my waiter, suggested local Swiss wines, to pair with each course...which they did beautifully. Life is too short not to spoil youself every now and then. I recommend that you do...at La Soupiere.More

Went for dinner because of recommendations here on TA and was not disappointed. Old fashioned European chic tableware and service, with a good (normal) price. The star of the evening was Helmut, who attentively dealt with all the guests in a very timely and entertaning...way. I truly enjoyed that on top of the good food and wine. Am a regular in Michelin * restaurants, but Helmut with his service tops most of them. Thank you !More

Top rated restaurant in the Hotel Schweizerhof. The seating is extremely comfortable the service is consistently friendly and very attentive. They have an extensive wine menu and the chef specials are Devine. I dined there twice during my stay and it was fantastic both times....The food was fresh and mostly local and just perfectly assembled. The Salad with salmon tartare was delicious as was the beef fillet with vegetables grilled medium The servers were superb and made the whole experience worth while. I highly recommend to try this restaurant as the food and location is amazingMore

We had a delightful meal in a beautiful venue. This is an excellent example of an elegant hotel restaurant well-done. As others have mentioned, Helmut is a high point of the visit. The menu had been recently changed with an emphasis on game. The venison...schnitzel was tender and flavorful. The seasonal salad surprised us with a variety of flavors.More

The atmosphere, service, food presentation, and location of La Soupiere are superb. The quantity and quantity of the meal was excellent. The wine selection provides something for everyone. The desserts were beautifully served, but did not match the other courses in quality because they were...somewhat bland. We look forward to returning.More

I had visited La Soupiere while passing through Zurich on my way to Italy. I enjoyed a great meal there. Two weeks later I was back in Zurich with my friend. I told him about the great meal and he insisted on putting it to...the test. We had a wonderful experience. The food was truly amazing. The chocolate mousse was completely incredible. The veal was tender and not dried out. The cranberry sauce for the veal was also great. I had never had cranberries paired with veal before. This evening we had the honor of being served by Helmut Stadlober, the Maitre d’hotel, himself. Excellent service. If you are in Zurich this is a must visit spot.More
