Great location, very poor refreshments and service , arrogant landlord grabbing the younger ones poor venue never again overpriced food and drink staff smoking behind the bar bad electrics

was warned by alot of motorcycle rallys not to hold this rally they were right should have listened totally no organisation just thought they could do want they wanted.left the field a trash site we only host organised rallies.how do they no what proper beer...More

Went over the weekend and the landlord was very arrogant and aggressive to everyone there his attitude stinks, him and his staff were smoking behind the bar in there barn bar and drinks were watered down won't be going again!

The organisers of the rally were brilliant but the owners of the venue we're rude grabbing female visitors checking their drinks staring at the visitors making them feel uneasy the toilets weren't kept replenished in toilet paper the beer didn't taste like it should seemed...More

A good and friendly pub good beer, food always good we will always stop there when in the area thanks. Good parking and beer garden also camping.

was there working at a rock weekend the inn offered a full menu recommend the Hartington steak had a few meals while there the food was excellent and a real inn filled with loads of historical items beer was good overall a pleasant welcoming experience...More

A 15th century Coaching inn, with parts dating back at least a thousand years. An old farmhouse, much enlarged in the 1400s, The Bull i' th' thorn has welcomed weary travellers for many hundreds of years. Set in 15 acres of Peak District Parkland, with 4 Dining Rooms, outside seating, 360 degree views of the Peaks and Valleys, stuiffed with over 10,000 antique and curios items, including 5 GrandFather clocks - one dating back to 1741, with muskets, armour and armamentsdating from the Civil War. A great range of beers, wines, spirits and food, from snacks to gourmet specials from the "Specials Board".
