De Duivelsberg is a great place to go to with kids. There is a little playground for the youngsters, who recover fast after walking up and down the nature walks around the Duivelsberg. This gives (grand)parents some more chance to sit and talk. The pancakes are very different from the American pancakes. They are the best Dutch pancakes I know.... More

A gem hidden in the marvellous woods around Nijmegen. This old farmhouse serves great pancakes and 'poffertjes' and other Dutch food. There is a special atmosphere up there at 'Devil's Mountain' and everyone should enjoy.

This pancake house is located in the middle of a forest close to Berg en Dal (near Nijmegen) on the road to Kranenburg (Germany). This is an ideal 'half-way house' for hikers (in summer they are there in large numbers). For those who do not want to sit inside there are nice terraces to sit outside. The building inside is... Combine the best pancakes ever with one of the best natural parks... The Duivelsberg! Absolutely stunning and one of the best choices to make while visiting The Netherlands.

This has to be my favorite place to have lunch in Holland. Welcoming for all ages. The off road driving adds to the experience. As long as you like pancakes that is!

Great destination for a bike ride from Nijmegen! Great coffee but poffertjes not quite the best: they were more like miniture pancakes than nicely puffed up poffertjes.

Very nicely located place that serves great pancakes. The pancakes go down very well after a nice walk (length of your choice) over 'De Duivelsberg' (devil's mountain). Mind you: these are Dutch pancakes, of wich one is enough for a lunch or dinner (unless you're 6'4" like me and you carried around your child). They come both sweet and harty.

The title might be misleading to some. But this place is tucked away in the woods just next to the German border. The pancake I had was a cheese, bacon and paprika powder sprinkled on top, it was so filling that I had to have a good 30 min walk to help my stomach. So big thumbs up to the... More
