Good concept, nice atmosphere... food was not as good as 3 months ago...quality of food was not convincing this time. It was a very good dinner some months ago! Presentation is still nice, the Gin Tonics are perfect, Service is nice, too...please work again on...your food, thank you!More

Visit this place on advice of friends who have been here before. Our first time in this city (celebrating a birthday and championship). We were welcomed very friendly by our hostess for the evening . The food and drinks were great and the service was...excellent(lovely, well-mannered, young serving staff). The highlight of the evening :when the brownies were served with special sparklers on top -the whole restaurant started to sing, spontaneously, happy birthday. What city, what nice people, what a lovely place to be. Thank you ♥More

Every time we were planning to go out for dinner we went to this place ,as we used to be very enthusiastic we invited our friends to go here. When we placed our reservation a month ago we asked for a table by the window,...which they could not promise. Strange, but no worries we still went today. We ordered drinks and some tap water, later on with our food we got another bottle of tap water (while also ordering drinks). When we asked for a third bottle of tap water it was no longer allowed. They stated that they only serve it with a bottle of wine. When we said that we got two bottles before we got a short and somewhat rude response of the waitress. It is no problem if tap water is only allowed with a bottle of wine, but be consistent and don't give it to us up front. Later on we had to wait longer and longer for a waitress to come to the table and even had to go to the bar by ourselves to get the bill. Unfortunately a bad experience at the restaurant what used to be our favourite with friends, groups and when celebrating.More

We went with a group off colleague’s to this restaurant. They serve all little things. A pity that it was not always enough for everybody to try. The food was ok. Do not expect anything culinary. The staff was friendly. But would not go again....Better options in town.More

Bleeckerstreet, located in the strip of restaurants on Kelfkensbos in Nijmegen, opposite the Valkhof museum offers shared dining. The concept is comparable to the popular "t Zusje" franchise, but the quality is leaps and bounds ahead of those establishments. We spent a lovely evening (from...7 till closing) on the heated terrace in early august. Inside the restaurant is contemporary, but with a warm/cozy feel. The menu is a large variety of cold and hot dishes, and while some will fault its lacks of a "line" or "theme" (you can find anything from sashimi, to curry, to pulled pork and salads on there) there is something for everyone's taste. All the dishes we enjoyed this evening were prepared with great care and obviously fresh ingredients and tasted wonderful. As it is shared dining, you order a maximum of 5 dishes per table each "round" which do not arrive at the same time and you share between your dining companions. The rose we had was also very enjoyable. All in all we would definately return here again when with a larger group, as the shared dining is not our thing when it's just the two of us.More

Went here with my girlfriend for our 1st anniversary. The food was great and the ambience & service also. Everything tasted really good, you can taste the effort they put in all the different dishes. We gave a good tip for the nice evening and...complimented the team for the good work! We surely come back another time!More

We had dinner here today, the place looks beautifull and staff is really nice. Nice first impression! But then... The food... The food lacks of creativity and real flavour ! All to easy prepared and that decreases the taste of the food. I would like...to see more quality fresh beef / chicken and more fresh vegetables and salades! Desserts where nice :-) The place has the potential to be a big but they need to upgrade the card!!More

Anywhere that serves Fevertree tonic water is good in my book! Nice selection of gins but that meant I didn't look at the wine list. Good choice of starters and mains, and all were delicious. Less impressed by the dessert menu; the cheesecake was soupy...and served in a jar. Service was slow but it was a busy Saturday. I'm planning to visit again, but next time I'll go midweek.More

Wow! What a perfect evening. The food is Tapas, but it's not. The wine is inexpensive by the beaker, and the white is crisp and light with spicy endings and the red is rich without being thick. If we go out to dinner for an...evening of good food and conversation, this is my favourite place to do that in Nijmegen. Their's is a concept restaurant but I will suggest you go there and let them explain their concept. It is dining as a social event. A single caveat, and that is the American in me, please don't put mayonaise on the French fries if you suspect we are American. When 3 americans are at a table bring 2 baskets full and put the mayo on the side, those were some of the BEST fries I ever had and we do not like mayonnaise. Please know it is trivial in a perfect world.More

Bleeckerstreet is an all you can eat restaurant where you feel like your eating in an 'a la carte' restaurant. The service, the food and the location are great! At Bleeckerstreet they know what people want, they've got everything in small portions so you can...easily share or just keep it for yourself without over-eating on 1 dish. You just gotta love Bleeckerstreet... We've been there, loved it and we're coming back asap for sure! And by the way: the prices are great, so when you're on a budget trip and want to eat for great quality... Still Bleeckerstreet is a recommendation.More
