Very nice atmosphere and amazing food. Price is adequate. I asked what was the best dish and they brought me an amazing pork.

Really good food at a reasonable price. Good service and pleasant interior. Wide variety on menu. Much nicer than some other Asian restaurants in the area.

My husband and I visited the restaurant a weekend in November. The food was really good. Great tastes, lots of food and a great price. The restaurant is located in the middle of the red light district, but don´t get frightened by this. It´s really worth a visit. We will definetely go back the next time we are in Amsterdam

Everything about this place exudes exotic. The waves of hash smoke outside the building coupled with an interior straight out of an Indiana Jones movie roped us right in. The restaurant is near the red light area so the hustle and bustle of the street adds to the ambiance. Our experience here was a mixed bag. I opted for the... More

Being a veggie is always a challenge, although not so much in NL. This restaurant has plenty of choices (not only for the veggies) and also super tasty. I went for the sizzling veggies and they were right at the perfect point. Nice, not dry, saucy, tasty and abundant. I loved it! It was my second time there and I... More

İ had a fixed menu, it came with soup and spring rolls as a starter, then the main course was duck with vegetables and beef..The prices are reasonable too..İt was a great experience ,... More

My wife and I shared the Tibet dinner for 2 for $47. The atmosphere is casual and the food was delicious. We were in and out in one hour.

I'd been meaning to visit this restaurant for a while but never got round to going with the amount of places there are to go to in Dam. I'm half tibetan and was dubious about trying Tibetan food out of home but it's fantastic and cheap too. The Tsampa is perfect and the momos are highly recommended. We left feeling... More

The looks of the restaurant can be misleading as the appearance of the restaurant did not make it look like any other asian / Chinese restaurant in this part of the city. However the food was great as was the service. Value of the meal was 10/10. With a lot of tasty food for cheap! We were both pleasantly surprised.

Tried this as we had never eaten Tibet food and it was well rated. Main course (house specilaity) was hot, spicy, full of flavour and the rice was cooked perfectly. Spring roll starters could have been better and came with no garnish / salad whatsoever. Decent house wine all in good value.

Staying in Red Light District (De Wallen)

Neighbourhood Profile
Red Light District (De Wallen)
To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its saucier aspects would mean missing the opportunity to view some of the city’s most picturesque canals, historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples of traditional local architecture – not to mention Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist temple and more local treasures. Sure, there are some less salubrious activities drawing the curious to this age-old part of time. Nevertheless, the Red Light District is still a very safe and incredibly fascinating area where at the turn of a corner you can be transported from the dingy glow of modern day neon red to a glorious 16th century Delft blue dreamscape.
