The restaurant has a wide range of dim sum dishes to choose from, and all the ones we ordered were very tasty. The staff is friendly, which is quite an exception for genuinely Chinese restaurants (you visit for good food, not good service). Would recommend if you fancy some dim sum.

We found this place by chance trying to escape the rain! Decided to eat on off chance. We got a table just before 12 and there were already lots of Chinese eating there - always a good sign. We ordered 5 dim sums, rice and tea. The service was really fast and friendly - very attentive too. Even the loos... More

Good dim sum and good variety, in a traditional Chinatown setting. Vegetarian options and corner windows looking out over the city.

Came here for my birthday while in Amsterdam and really enjoyed the meal. The food was pretty expensive though. Two mains which came with rice/noodles & two soft drinks for €50! I did really enjoy myself though. The place felt at times somewhat chaotic though, staff running about the place. We were seated in the centre of the restaurant, it... More

I have Ben here before on several occasions and enjoyed the dim sum at lunch. The dim sun is one of the best in Amsterdam. This was not the case with the dinner a la carte. The service was slow and unfriendly, the food was below average and did not come at the same Time. The wait at lunch for... More

An amazing choice of food but watch what you order as it can work out very expensive especially if as we did you order a meal for two not realising that the price quoted is for each person.

Proper Chinese food! We tried 11 types of dim sum and they all were a piece of art! Amazing! Nothing to do with what the Chinese food they serve in Spain! I suggest oriental city to open a restaurant in Ibiza!!!!

Don't be fooled by new hipster places like Dim Sum Now, those are crap in comparison to the beauties that they serve here. After my first visit I have been taken everybody who visits me in Amsterdam here for a Dim Sum lunch. Even people who are normally not into exotic meals loved it. Best place in Amsterdam for Dim... Staying in Red Light District (De Wallen)

Neighbourhood Profile
Red Light District (De Wallen)
To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its saucier aspects would mean missing the opportunity to view some of the city’s most picturesque canals, historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples of traditional local architecture – not to mention Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist temple and more local treasures. Sure, there are some less salubrious activities drawing the curious to this age-old part of time. Nevertheless, the Red Light District is still a very safe and incredibly fascinating area where at the turn of a corner you can be transported from the dingy glow of modern day neon red to a glorious 16th century Delft blue dreamscape.
