I wasn't sure what to expect since this restaurant is on a busy square and I worried maybe it was a tourist trap. Not so!! I told the gentleman who took our order I wanted a vegetarian rice table but the one on the menu...More

We had the 90 euro dinner for 2. The meat and seafood servings were cooked to perfection and really tasted good. However, the vegetable offerings were uninspired. Potato stix is something that I buy in a small bag from a vending machine. I do not...More

My hotel concierge pointed the way to this wonderful place on the conveniently located Rembrandtplein. The food was simply extraordinary and even though the set menu is for two, I was accomodated dining there solo. The flavors of the food and the sheer amount of...More

Amsterdam is best known for its Indonesian restaurants. I have visited the Indarpura the first time and must say, it really beats all the others. It is located centrally, close to the Rembrandtplein. Superfriendly employees, very nice and authentic ambience, super quality Indonesian food. Definitely...More

I liked the interior and the atmosphere of Indrapura. The food itself was very average. We were a party of 32 maybe for that reason the dishes that were supposed to be hot were lukewarm or even a bit on the cold side. We had...More

A return visit midweek off season. Fairly busy but quick and attentive service. Ordered traditional rijstafel which is the specialty. Originating in Sumatra, consists of 20 + small plates with rice. Varied selection of beef, chicken, seafood and vegetables. Well cooked and spiced, chilli beef...More

Had a really varied and interesting tapas/meze type meal here. There are various choices and prices but certainly not the cheapest option. We thought that it was worth the price though to try the lovely flavours of the dishes. Service was pleasant and timely. The...More

We had indonesian menu yesterday at Indrapura. There were at least 15 different dishes and the flavors were exotic but absolutely delicious! Have to come back as soon as possible!

Hi! We are thrilled to be planning our first trip to Amsterdam. Do we need reservations and are there times when the restaurant is less busy? We will be in Amsterdam on April 19 to April 23. Can you help me set reservations for 3?

I would definately book and it's well worth a visit. As a previous answer said, eat light before you go as there is a great deal of food and difficult to get through. In my view this is the best restaurant this side of Mars!
