For 6 euros you can get a regular sized cone of churros which is more than enough for two people. Crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, they were absolutely delicious.

Everything looks so appetising here, with a large selection but they make the best fresh churros. They also have a great selection of waffles, they tend to make them fresh in front of you, which is different from a lot of places who simply warm up their waffles and churros.

My mantra before I indulge in a guilty pleasure is to determine if desert is worth the extra calories. There is no doubt that their bakery is simply divine and well worth the wait, price and most importantly, the calories! The hardest part was to choose which tasty treat to order! Well staffed and they hustle to service their customers.... More

Expensive but so worth it. We had a croissant filled with custard and strawberries €4 each to take away and they were delicious. So we went back tonight and had currros smothered in Nutella sauce (€6.50 each portion) Shove the coffee shops this is my substance of choice in Amsterdam!

Stopped in here several times when we (me and the wife) had the munchies and when we were sober I might add and it has the best waffles around. It gets pretty busy in there but it's easy to know why as it's got fantastic baked goods. I have recommended this place to my parents (who have never smoked) and... More

Very pretty bakery. Good service. Went there for breakfast. There's a small area for eating ur pastries in the shop. Tried the Dutch small pancakes with maple syrup and butter. Prefer it with more butter and less syrup. Had a small churros. Good churros (although a little overfried) outside of Spain and Mexico. Prefer it to the korean ones. Coffee... More

Best churros in amsterdam, freshly made and a good range of desserts on the counter for you to choose from. You can find them on the way to the Red Light District.

This was right beside our hotel and has one of the best churros I have tasted, ever! If churros is not your thing, then the other desserts would tempt you too!

Staying in Red Light District (De Wallen)

Neighbourhood Profile
Red Light District (De Wallen)
To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its saucier aspects would mean missing the opportunity to view some of the city’s most picturesque canals, historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples of traditional local architecture – not to mention Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist temple and more local treasures. Sure, there are some less salubrious activities drawing the curious to this age-old part of time. Nevertheless, the Red Light District is still a very safe and incredibly fascinating area where at the turn of a corner you can be transported from the dingy glow of modern day neon red to a glorious 16th century Delft blue dreamscape.
