Visited for dinner after a pleasant glass of wine that afternoon in passing. Menu looked French brasserie which seemed a nice wee change in Amsterdam Service wine and ambiance where great. Dropped in one evening and they just fitted us in, disappointed they'd run out of mussels however the bisque was delicious really deep flavour, lobster linguine too was lovely, had to remind them twice about beers we ordered when we first arrived that they said they'd forgotten & it wasn't busy at that time. Overall really good, thought it seemed... More

Great burger. Good chips. Eggs Norwegian went down a treat. An although limited I'd recommend the Brouwerij'f Ij on tap. Surprisingly potent. A good find.

Had dinner here and the food was very good. Prices were slightly on the higher side but made up for it with the high quality food. Guests have the option of sitting at the bar or dining at the restaurant. Wait staff were friendly and kindly offered bottle of tap water. Seemed to be a hip place since bloggers were... More

Me and my business partners usually goes here when we visit Amsterdam. It's a nice venue with cool vibe, good food and nice people. Good service and not to pricy. Great restaurant for a affordable and premium dinner experience.

This looks a great place. A reasonable menu, clean and tidy in a nice place/situation just off the main beaten track . I would visit again for lunch or dinner.

We stumbled across this after a day wandering around beautiful Amsterdam. It was a Sunday afternoon and not hugely busy but we took a punt and so glad we did. We ended up staying for a few hours which just flew with great wine and food. It filled up as we sat there and by dinner time was people were... More

Staying in Jordaan

Neighbourhood Profile
One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll through this especially convivial warren of narrow streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and quality galleries. Historically a haven for the working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is better known as an enclave for artists and designers. As popular as the Jordaan is as a destination for locals and out-of-towners alike, the area never feels particularly touristy or overrun with outsiders. A highlight even for long-time Jordaan residents, be sure to accept any invitation to step within one of the area’s beloved courtyards or to have a sneak peek inside one of its many working studios.
