Had a couple of beers and a burger, reasonably priced, nothing special. Plenty of Brits in there so assumed it was the Dutch equivalent of a Weatherspoons chain pub? Weird toilet set-up, never had to share with the opposite sex!!

Friendly staff, nice and clean with lots of seating. Not the cheapest place to eat but definitely worth it for the outstanding cup of tea!👌🏼🍳🥓☕️

Arrived in AMS at 7:00am and wandered into the red light district starving and in search of breakfast. Was traveling with Vegans so this spot was perfect! I don’t think I’ve ever paid $11 for a basic omelette with cheese in America(unless for a high...More

I love the ambiance of this place. It has a very 1920's look. The food is always delicious and we love their specialty drinks as well.

It's a fairly nice place with outdoor seating along the canal, but the prices were not as nice. The rumpsteak was quite good, but I asked for medium rare, and they cooked it well done. Great fries, though.

Red Light District (De Wallen)
To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the
Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its
saucier aspects would mean missing the opportunity to
view some of the city’s most picturesque canals,
historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples
of traditional local architecture – not to mention
Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist
temple and more local treasures. Sure, there are some

Dear Lucy, To be honest, The Grasshopper is not a wheelchair friendly location. It is a 18th Century building with many floor level differences and stairs. Really sorry about that. Personally I think that it would be... More
