The bacon and cheese Dutch pancakes is the best pancakes I've tasted. The cheese melted to perfection. Bacon is tender yet crispy. If you are feeling it, top it with a hint of syrup. My God, I am in Heaven.

I came here with my sister for breakfast and it was delicious! I would definitely recommend trying the yoghurt with granola and a chocolate croissant! The menu seems to have a large selection, from yoghurt and croissants to an English breakfast, American pancakes, omelettes and more.

With a view on the Central Station, this restaurant serves delicious breakfeast, bruch and drinks, everything for a very good price. Just a little bit disappointed in the dessert; if you expect real chocolate on the pancakes, you'll be disappointed (fellow Belgians will feel me). Pancakes are served with a nutella-like type of nut chocolate. Still good, but...

We visited this coffee shop for an early afternoon hot chocolate as it was a very wet and windy day. The interior was slightly small but very pretty and comfortable, and the prices were very good. The hot chocolate was one of the best I'd tasted, and I even treated myself to a strawberry jam croissant, which for 3 euros... More

Rainy day.. slept in.. husband grumbled about walking over in the rain but admitted it was worth it! Even on a wet cold dreary day the little place was full. We came in just as a table was leaving so got lucky.. had English breakfast and a Dutch pancake. So good and filling. Couple working very kind.. highly recommend...

Often I go to Amsterdam for my Holidays, I've been in this tipical Dutch Restaurant many times, Top Hamburger with good people. Here you can have a large meal for a good price. I suggest this small but lovely place to others travellers.

Staying in Red Light District (De Wallen)

Neighbourhood Profile
Red Light District (De Wallen)
To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its saucier aspects would mean missing the opportunity to view some of the city’s most picturesque canals, historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples of traditional local architecture – not to mention Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist temple and more local treasures. Sure, there are some less salubrious activities drawing the curious to this age-old part of time. Nevertheless, the Red Light District is still a very safe and incredibly fascinating area where at the turn of a corner you can be transported from the dingy glow of modern day neon red to a glorious 16th century Delft blue dreamscape.
