Horrible experience. Rude waiters and the food is not worth the experience. Blend and really not the type of Chinese you would expect. Left the food on the table and just left.

The menu is quite extensive and offers a wide selection. My friends and i ordered a few classics like Peking duck and mapo tofu. Most dishes tasted ok but they were all very oily and not really worth the price.

A great place for authentic Roasted meat, soy chicken & roasted duck 👍🏻👍🏻 big bowl of fragrant white rice. Their tea was really good as well. A great place!

We ordered the crispy pork, salt and pepper shrimp and some Chinese broccoli to share. We had leftovers!!! The food was good.

It is by far one of the best Chinese restaurants where we ate. If I had to give notes, it would be this: Location 8 (small space but traditional), Serving 8 (are nice serving people but they are not smiling ) Food 10 (no comments)! I recommend!

A couple of things about Nam Kee. First and foremost, this is easily the best Peking Duck I have had outside of China. It's really, really good, and when that's what you want, I can;t think of a better place to go. Second, the whole vibe of this place -- from the annoyed, lady who seated us, to the harried,... More

Staying in Red Light District (De Wallen)

Neighbourhood Profile
Red Light District (De Wallen)
To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its saucier aspects would mean missing the opportunity to view some of the city’s most picturesque canals, historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples of traditional local architecture – not to mention Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist temple and more local treasures. Sure, there are some less salubrious activities drawing the curious to this age-old part of time. Nevertheless, the Red Light District is still a very safe and incredibly fascinating area where at the turn of a corner you can be transported from the dingy glow of modern day neon red to a glorious 16th century Delft blue dreamscape.
