My wife and I were spoilt for choice on this street with Korean, Indian, Spanish, French, Dutch and Turkish restaurants. In the end we chose Orontes and were glad we did. We had the house meze which was excellent. I also had a lovely baklava desert and Turkish coffee. Reasonable price, friendly and great service.

The atmosphere was nice, and having read the reviews we thought it was worth a visit. We had the chef's selection of mezze (prawns, breaded minced meat, a variety of dips, bread, cheesy stuffed mushrooms, and filo wrapped feta) of which all were average/poor apart from the hoummus and bread.

The place is a warm cozy Turkish restaurants where you see few turkish people enjoying the food. The place is really nice and the food is amazing. The beet is simply amazing and so is the warm soft bread and hummus is fantastic. Definitely recommended!

Our food was fresh, plentiful, and tasty. I decided not to give them an average rating, because it was better than that, but not as flavorful as the food in Greece or Turkey. Service was great and the cost was reasonable.

The food served here is Mediterranean/Turkish - very tasty, freshly cooked, good selection on menu, very reasonable priced. Restaurant busy even on a mid-week evening, but reservation not required on the night we visited. Service friendly and efficient, very nice house wine too! Can highly recommend this restaurant and will certainly go back.

This is a lovely restaurant with a really good menu. We chose the mixed meze which had a range of cold and hot dishes - all of them were delicious and the mussels were outstanding. There is a decent and reasonably priced house wine. Service was very good. Highly recommended!
