Would advise you to come here if you can eat a lot of ribs (unlimited for 14.95) and if you like cats. They have an adorable local cat :)

Friendly staff but they don't understand english or german. The food was not that good. The Steak we ordered was alright but one of the two baked Potatoes was bad. One sauce was gross the Second one had a really weird concistence and the third one we got wasn't the Sauce we ordered. One steak (Pork) was really dry and... More

We chose here as we wanted to look for something different to eat, they had a good selection of food, they offered unlimited ribs if you wanted. My other half had ribs but the standard portion. I had an aubergine dish which was lovely. The staff were very friendly. I would recommend it, not too far from the station

We were a huge fan of this restaurant in the last years. Every time when visit Amsterdam then went here for a steak but what we got last week is was terrible. I would like to ask the manager if they are not able to server 20 people than say NO for the booking or teach the staff how to... More

There are plenty of restaurants in zeedijk but we tried La Casa Argentina. We didn't have steak but we had chicken in a wonderful tomato and garlic sauce served with fries and salad. It was amazing ! absolutely delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The waiting staff here are very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. We've just finished our meal and my son said it was the best steak he had ever had. The staff were really attentive and kept checking everything was ok. The decor is very traditional and feels very cosy.

Good Argentine restaurant in the Red Light District. The staff was very cheerful and helpful. The food was decent but not the greatest, it lacked flavored. Prices were also on the higher side if you're watching your wallet. Think $20 euro for a 250g steak. On the flip side, sides like rice with vegetables was $3 euro. Their steaks are... More

Went there as a group of 9, wish we hadn't !! Service wasn't great at all, burgers came without buns, steak was very poor !! asked for bread and got half cooked small baguettes that we were charged €27 for !! We ate at fine dining places and got charged less the following nights. My advice is avoid the place... More

Staying in Red Light District (De Wallen)

Neighbourhood Profile
Red Light District (De Wallen)
To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its saucier aspects would mean missing the opportunity to view some of the city’s most picturesque canals, historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples of traditional local architecture – not to mention Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist temple and more local treasures. Sure, there are some less salubrious activities drawing the curious to this age-old part of time. Nevertheless, the Red Light District is still a very safe and incredibly fascinating area where at the turn of a corner you can be transported from the dingy glow of modern day neon red to a glorious 16th century Delft blue dreamscape.
