Went on my honeymoon i just can say this place is absolutely insane!! Its casual and informal great for lunch. We had the hugest tower of seafood I have ever sean. The plate underneath all the raw options that you could imagine and above all the cooked options you couldn't imagine. Amazingly fresh, perfect texture and flavor, the cooked at... More

I love seafood and this place is a sensory overload. The entrance has the chilled platters being assembled and the bar shows the enjoyment of the guests. I really like that the state a policy of only 30 % of their tables can be reserved. Thank you from all those who travel and want to arrive at a good meal,... More

Bright white restaurant, (maybe a bit clinical) good service and a superb shared seafood platter for €42. Important to book: Ask for a table rather than stools at the bar.

This place is oozing with freshness. Ordered the seafood platter and it did not disappoint... A full display of crab legs, shrimp, salmon, crab salad, it basically was a hunk a hunk of burning love. If in Amsterdam this is the place to try for fresh seafood!

The place was highly recommended by several sources. Being from Riga where even the best restaurants normally have some empty tables at any time, we popped in on a Friday night without a reservation. No luck of course, made a reservation for Sunday night. This even more got us hyped up about the place. Comes Sunday, we arrive for dinner,... More

Wonderful fresh seafood restaurant. Had the best Bloody Mary to start. Fresh bread with the most delicious herb butter followed by fresh and delicious seafood dinner. Well priced bright atmosphere. Short walk from the Van Gogh museum. Highly recommend the Salmon dinner. Only regret was I was too full to finish. Very well priced too!

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
