For the best-ever sandwich this deli is a must. The ingredients are fresh and the deli only uses the highest quality products (cheeses and hams). They offer interesting combinations. For example I had a baguette with warm goat’s cheese, Dutch prosciutto, honey, dried tomatoes and pine nuts. It’s worth going out you your way for this one.

Warmest service and excellent sandwiches. Let them guide you and you won't be disappointed! We stepped into this little shop because the window was so inviting. Felt like a place for locals but the proprietor quickly made us feel right at home and took great care of us. 2 Awesome sandwiches to go; he decided what we should have and... More

Got some prosciutto and some boiled ham here along with some sliced Gouda. Fantastic! What a selection! Friendly staff and reasonably priced.

Arrived hungry and had the owners full attention and advice on what to have, the provenance of the food, where to go to eat our purchases and the future weather prospects. Everything looked tempting and everything we chose was choice! Might have to sneak an extra Neal in and revisit!!!

Wow! Do not miss! A mouthwatering collection of home made sausages, meat products and the finest selection of non-tourist branded cheeses. Having advised us upon the Late Rembrandt exhibition at the Rijksmuseum, the co-owner vacuum-sealed a smoked ossenworst he had previously cut up into 4 pieces so that they keep their freshness longer and so that they are flight-compatible. great... In addition to cheese they have meat for sale. I had no idea what I wanted to have so the young salesperson suggested a couple of cheeses. Nice service and the shop was not crowded like some other cheese stores I visited.

This is my favorite cheese store in AMS. We are always welcome there, trying a lot of cheeses - and of course always carrying out a bag full of cheese that we take home.

Stumbled upon this cheese shop and immediatelly noticed the large cheese and meat selection. You could order a sandwich from the menu or let the owner put together a selection of typical dutch cheeses and meat to stuff into a baguette like we did (see photo). Not to be missed

Stopped in here to pick up some sandwich stuff for lunch. Fantastic! The people were very(!!!) friendly and had excellent knowledge of how certain meats and cheeses blend together in the perfect combination. Upon request they provided a selection of food typically eaten by the people here. Great value too! Stopping here is a must.

For some reason this has been included in restaurant reviews. it is a great local cheese shop and although you are encouraged to try the cheese, it is not a restaurant. do seek it out - all types of cheese local and French etc. Much nicer gouda than the plastic versions from the more touristy cheese shops all over Amsterdam.
