The breakfast here was really great - just for 4.95 euros hot plate with all you mean by English breakfast;-). Just in 5 min from Central station! Attentive staff! Always will have breakfast here! Don't understand to wait outside to be seated for 8 Euros omelette like in other places? It's just breakfast! :-)))

The food wasn't that good and the staff was extremely rude they were more busy talking to each other loudly than taking our order. Awful experience.

The pizza and pasta is freshly made and amazing. The staff are great and very attentive. The food takes about 10 minutes once you order. I would recommend the restaurant. the food is good value for money. definitely will eat again. The pasta bar is 5 minutes walk from central station Tram stop on Damrak on the apposite side.

Pastabar is located just a few minutes walk from Amsterdam Centraal station. Food is delicious and well priced. Our food arrived within about 10 minutes of us ordering which was amazing as we were super hungry! The staff are friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back if we ever return to Amsterdam!!

They have best pizza and pasta in Amsterdam. We ordered 4 cheese pizza, mushroom pasta, and pasta arabiatta. All the dishes were more than perfect. The best thing in this place is the service and the smiling waiters :)

Every time I go to Amsterdam on a mini cruise I call in here for breakfast as it is just round the corner from where the coach drops you off. Breakfast is good value, 2 eggs, 2 sausage, 2 streaky bacon and baked beans €4.95, tea €2.50 and latte €3.30. They also serve pasta and pizza, good choice of cakes.... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
