We first visited this restaurant 37 years ago when it was one of the best restaurants in Amsterdam. Unfortunately it is no longer like that. The menu choice has gone down and, although the food was well cooked, better is on offer elsewhere.More

Went here with my wife on Saturday to celebrate my 50th Birthday. Really pretty restaurant inside with quaint rooms. Menu was small but everything we had was lovely. Staff were excellent too. very attentive and friendly. Nice place.More

Description
Restaurant d'Vijff Vlieghen is situated in 5 17th Century houses. The restaurant is decorated with many antique objects from the 17,18th and 19th Century. You will find amongst others 4 original etchings of Rembrandt, rare Glassware from the 17th Century and original Delft Blue tiles from the 17th and 18th Century. A romantic dinner for 2 in one of our cosy corners is possible, just as a private dining or large (business) dinners
