Booked this meal online before we travelled so didn't really know much about it. When we arrived at the Hotel Okura the evening of the meal (restaurant situated inside) I knew it was going to be pricey! Fantastic surroundings and decor! We were seated at a table with 2 other groups and our personal chef cooked up a storm on... More

Christmas day 2016..I´ll never forget. Sazanka..Teppanyaki...michelin star. Nice combination but I was a bit sceptic because had some nice but also bad teppanyaki experiences. Ok the christmas menu and a wine and sake arrangement. The service was excellent and, it was ment to be, the head chef was cooking for us. Very shy in the beginning but then he realised... More

Everything you order is cooked in front of you. There are tables of 8 people, and each table gets its' own chef. The food is unbelievable, the service is excellent! You will definitely regret if you don't try it!

Because of a cancellation we moved from Yamazato to Sazanka as my girls birthday tradition is teppanyaki. From the Shangri-la in Sydney to the hot plates in Hawaii we had an international experience for over 18 years. As an anual gueast at the Okura we never tried Sazanka. But we will do this more often for sure! Having the most... More

I had a business dinner at Sazanka. What a mistake. We had the 'classic menu'. It's without a doubt one of the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. Service: we had to wait at least 30-45 minutes between dishes. Food was served without any explanation whatsoever. When we finally left the restaurant, we found our coats on a table... More

I've been to many teppanyaki restaurants throughout the world. This is one of the best I've had. The service is exceptional and traditional Japanese. The food portions are perfect not leaving you feeling heavy. They have traditional deserts from Netherlands with a Japanese touch. All around is delicious. Couldn't have been happier that we found this gem on our last... More

We chose the classic menu with the more expensive wagyu beef, which was excellent! My wife decided that she would rather have a dessert from the seasonal menu, (which was possible) and liked it a lot. My wife chose a dessert from the seasonal menu (the chocolate souffle). Both desserts were

We have visited Amsterdam twice and both times visited Teppanyaki. One of the greatest restaurants with cheerful cooks and great atmosphere to sit around with your drink and enjoy our dinner.

The Teppan-chefs will prepare the most delicious fish, meat and vegetarian dishes on a hot iron griddle at your table: a la minute cooking with Japanese precision. The contemporary Japanese interior, inspired by the elements of stone, wood, water and fire, is an oasis of tranquillity. The teppanyaki griddles are large enough for seven to ten guests and are ideal for both business and celebratory dinners. Sazanka is open for dinner from 18:30 to 22:00 daily. Lunch can be prepared for a minimum group size of 10 people and must be booked in advance.
