We found this gem of a restaurant on Tripadvisor. A table reservation would be recommended at busy times. The food was delicious with a selection of traditional Dutch options. And you can opt for a combination meal to try a selection of different mashed potatoes....More

We stumbled across The Pantry whilst looking for a lunch option on a Sunday afternoon in the Leidsplein area of the city. It is situated in Leidsekruisstraat. Whilst it looks nothing to write home about from the outside, it is cosy and homely within and...More

Quaint little place with amazing food. Mustard is amazing too. Variety of foods to share - lucked out with not needing a reservation.

This place was just what I hoped it would be--a real Dutch restaurant. You walk in and it looks like my grandmother's house with blue delft decorations every where. I like the service in Europe because they don't hound you constantly, they come over when...More

This is a great spot to grab some authentic and extremely tasty dutch food. I had the bitterballen (best I had the whole holiday) and the combination with a sausage. The sausage was extremely flavourful and each of the mashed potatoes had it's own distinct...More

Hi there. Simply emailed and replied the next day. Our booking was made roughly a week in advance but I believe they had bookings available for the following night when we were there. So a few days would be a good bet. Hope... More

Yes, you need a reservation. The restaurant is very small. I can't recall the pricing, but don't remember being shocked or thinking it was outrageous (I'm used to Seattle-area dining prices if that helps, where paying $20 to... More

The Pantry Imagine a restaurant version of the successful TV show I Love Holland, and that is what The Pantry is like. This cosy restaurant near the Leidseplein distinguishes itself with its typically Dutch atmosphere and traditional old-Dutch dishes. Hospitality is important. The staff understands the dining and hospitality business and have worked here for years, during which the recognition of this restaurant has been ever increasing. The Dutch living room atmosphere is enhanced by the use of lampshades, Delftware and old paintings on the wall, complemented by the background music. The Pantry works exclusively with fresh, homemade products. Its location in the Leidseplein neighbourhood makes this an ideal restaurant to eat before catching a theatre show or movie. The doors open from eleven in the morning, so it's also a great place to go for lunch
