Dropped in on a whim and very glad we did. The menu had a wide range of dishes to cater for all tastes and very friendly and helpful staff to talk you through it. The food was exceptional with delicious lamb and vegetarian dishes. We...More

Never eaten Turks food before but we passed by this lovely restaurant a few weeks ago and decided we would try it sometime - a neighbor is Turkish and went with us to give us some recommendations for the menu. We chose the mixed platters...More

Divan is an Amsterdam gem. Turkish kitchen at its best in setup of a dutch brown bar. When you finish eating, you feel content, like eating a meal from grandma. The family running this restaurant cares about the food and cares about the clients. Highly...More

Nice little Turkish restaurant off the Keizergracht. We had the mixed mezes and every dish was lovely (although I could have lived without the beans). Wine was nice too. They don't take visa debit cards but thankfully we had enough cash. If we were staying...More

We enjoyed the vegetarian mezze and it was completely delicious. Very gentle, efficient service with a nice mix of music to chill you out. All in all, excellent.

Thd place looks very nice and the staff was very friendly, BUT from one main dish you walk away hungry and the meat was really tough. For two 'appetizer' and a bottle of water we paid more 55 bugs. Never again.

We dined there on our first day in Amsterdam. We were staying at a hotel nearby and were too tired to venture too far so I checked tripadvisor within the radius around me. It was the PERFECT everything. I made reservation by phone and just...More

One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and
some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two
of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll
through this especially convivial warren of narrow
streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and
quality galleries. Historically a haven for the
working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is
better known as an enclave for artists and designers.
