We went there hoping to get a taste of something different, an we did. Pumpkin souop, fish soup, and Sangria. They were all very good, but nothing to get all excited about, and slightly on the expensive side.

This place is alright for a drink. Service was a bit slow and Not very personable. Drinks were fine didn't fancy eating here based on service received for drinks.

My partner and I stumbled into this little Peruvian place as we were wandering around Amsterdam's canals and it's a little gem. The menu is fairly simple - around a half dozen starters and mains, and slightly fewer deserts. It's hearty fare, with beef, chicken, lamb and fish all on the menu, mostly served with rice. There is a vegetarian... More

It was not my first visit but unfortunately will be the last. Casa Peru used to be the authentic Peruvian restaurant with excellent food and mediocre service. Nowadays both are mediocre at its best. We ordered ceviche today as starter, which was reasonable but fish wasn't at its best. Lomo Saltado was over cooked and too salty. Filet steak was... More

This is a very nice restaurant with a small menu. I like small menus, because usually you eat fresh stuff there. When the menu is like a phonebook, you should run!!! The starter for 2 people is a masterpiece, to look at AND to eat!! Bubbles also by the glass. All in all a very nice experience.

We had dinner here last night. It was a Sunday and very quiet in the restaurant. We had some pisco sour, the Peruvian cocktail, to start with and a main course each. We both really liked our dishes (the lomo saltado and the tallarines verdes con bistec) so would recommend both! All in all a good restaurant but probably more... More

Really nice food, in what looks like a family restaurant. Something new you don't get to try everyday.

We went here on my wife's birthday as she really likes Peruvian food. We enjoyed our evening here. The service was quick and friendly and the price reasonable (by central Amsterdam standards). The food was tasty. However, I have been spoiled by going to restaurants owned by Gastón Acurio in both Madrid and Barcelona and I am afraid that the... More
