Sells bread (very good by the way) and breackfasts. Good quality of raw materials and quite nice and relaxed atmosphere. Reccomended.
I love the breads offered by this chain. It is truly awesome. Cannot eat supermarket bread after I've been to this place.
Quite an extensive collection (and therefore choice of) artisan bread varieties, served with bio friendly toppings, accompanied by good quality coffee/tea. recommended for a lunch visit.

We stopped at the VB to have breakfast the other day, and we did not regret it. We enjoyed great food, tasty bread and good coffee. Well worth a visit, also for the nice waitresses.
Vlaamsch Broodhuys is worth the trip when it comes to buying bread - they do an excellent job. Their location at Meent 8 has a nice lunchroom and a small terrace, and service is friendly and personal. And their coffees and juices are similarly great.
