I dined at Vino e Cucina and asked for the day's menu. I was not disappointed; all the courses were faithful to Italian cuisine - the simple recipes that one would find in Italy, without frills and not pretentious, cooked with great art, nicely presented and served by an all-Italian team. Italian music (not limited to the sort that one... More

Previous owner Roberto built a great and popular place. Recent new owner does not have clue about hospitality. Service sucks, however kitchen is reasonably good but could improve on refinement. Terrible waste; new owner and motivated kitchen could put this place back on the map. Sinking ship as of now but not all is lost, but hospitality part needs swift... More

Dear Patron, perhaps it is indeed difficult for a historic client of an establishment to get used to the idea of a new owner, but the truth is that your perceptions are greatly tinted by your habits. However, my wife and myself owner at Vino e Cucina truly appreciate your feedback even though it is extremely negative. Thank you very... More

We heard positively about this restaurant and we decided to go. The place gives you the idea to feel like home, wonderful wood panels, suffused lights and that unique Italian atmosphere all around. We had a started, delicious “carpaccio” thinly sliced and perfectly dressed and went ahead with homemade ”sepia ravioli” filled with fresh sea bass (OMG that was super!).... More

We visited this Italian restaurant because it was close to our hotel. Coming from Italy ourselves we were interested to see what an Italian restaurant was offering in the Netherlands. We were impressed about the quality. Food and wine were good. Pricing was somewhat above the Italian level for this type of facility. The owner and the staff served us... More

The food here is not that bad, but it does not excel as I heard before arriving. I had the sword fish: the taste of the meal was ok, but it did not taste sword fish at all. Starters and desserts did not excel either. Just another restaurant.

A bit expensive (3 course menu for 3 + 3 glasses of house wine = 116 euros), but with a 15% discount given to EasyHotel guests, this small restaurant can offer a good (not spetacular) meal. Extra credits for the two very friendly waiters.

You may not guess so from outside, but the cooking at the Vino and Cucina is superb. The owner is a Sicilian, from Giarre, near Aci Trezza, where local people still show visitors the huge rocks that a blinded Polyphemus hurled at the fleeing Odysseus, and of course the cooking is Sicilian too: farfalle with Lentini lemon, cannolo Siciliano, exquisite... Is you want (or need) authentic Italian cuisine, this is the place to be in The Hague. We had antipasti, small pasta, fish in a salt crust ( phoned a day before), and it was heaven ( as usual).

The pistachio pasta was really bad, no taste, actually a rubber taste. The tiramisu was like heaven, one if the best. Before having the menu, I was offered with ham and eventually charged for €10 for a very small plate

What a nice surprise is this restaurant. We came for lunch and for sure I will come back for dinner. Regretfully in Holland the staff usually is not very friendly and/or professional, but this restaurant is one of the few exceptions. In fact service wise one of the best. Also the food turned out to be of excellent quality. We... More
