The best place for seafood lovers. Big portions for reasonable price. All is fresh and sooo taste. The only minus is that they do not give bowl with water or wet napkins in order to clean hands after eating shrimps.

We came for dinner and the food was great. The service was excellent and the ambience was first class. We had scallops (small portion - expensive) but very nice and my wife and daughter had the tuna tartar which was delicious. It was also of decent dimensions and portion. The main course was turbot served with white asparagus and an... More

Went to the restaurant with friends that eat in there everytime they are in Den Haag. We stood on line to order, while one friend sought a table. Ordering and paying went smoothly. Our friends got their food quickly, a Caesar salad with fish and fish soup. After 35 min we inquired as to our meal. the wait staff said... More

Very good food-quality what has been discovered by a lot of people. Therefore often rather crowded, yet definitely worth the visit.

There is a fish shop next door to the resto from the same brand, same building, just to be clear. Very popular place, between fast food and resto I would say. Free private parking, resto accessible without stairs. Prices are also reasonable, you can get a big piece of fried fish for 5-6 euros, in fact that is what I... More

This is not a fancy place with glamorous visitors, this is where you come to have the freshest fish and crustaceans for the BEST price in Europe. Restaurant is always busy, but you won't regret -- lobsters for 22 EUR, swordfish on grill, what a King shrimp almost if a size of a lobster, and many more. Herring (matjes) is... More

Simonis is an authentic fish place right by the harbor in Scheveningen (i.e. the sea side part of The Hague). Large servings, quick service, great fish. Nothing fancy, down to earth. If you want to have a long and fancy sit down dinner, I would suggest going elsewhere. But if you want some good fish and an authentic atmosphere, this... More

After a day of site seeing in Scheveningen we ended up at Simonis aan de haven around 8.15 pm and the place was still packed. The service is really fast and the waitresses are very polite and friendly. The food was for us more more more than enough. Very big portions and very tasteful.

Can't leave The Hague without having visited this place. The gambas are excellent, the salad is great and the herring taste excellent. A must visit! I visit every week...
