Authentic small "rumah makan" with amazing tasty food and friendly service. Not extremely inviting from the outside, but don't let looks deceive you and enjoy the various tasty dishes. Well recommended!

The interior and exterior are not impressive, but the food is simply good. Traditional colonial "Indisch". The waitress didn't have much time for us, was our impression. When i visit The Hague again i'm not sure all go here again because of the lack of atmosphere. On the other hand when i think of the food my mouth waters.

Can't believe this is one of the better 'Indische' restaurants of The Hague. Two of us have Indonesian roots and we frequently go to this kind of restaurants. This one is definitely not worth going. Staff didn't care about the guests. Tables are too close to each other, so you can only move if the neighbours hold their breath. Food... More

The restaurant definitely proves you shouldn't be judging a book by its cover. The interior is extremely dated (although the lady who was serving us had said that there will be a refurbishment taking place soon) and it needs an update. The food, on the other hand, was delightful. I have never tried Indonesian food before but it was a... More

The restaurant's interior is dated, the outside does not look imposing at all. But once inside we were welcomed warmly and the menu was discussed at length. We sat at a rickety table and asked for white wine. The only options were dry or sweet. The dry white turned out to be a Bergerac, not at all disappointing. We did... More

We have eaten here with a group of 4 people before attending a concert. Ordered a rijsttafel with some complementary dishes. It was excellent and we will certainly come again. I especially like the Bami Soeboer and the Babi-dishes :-)

My wife and I don't like our food too spicey- and with a menu in Dutch,we wondered what we would get- we needn't have worried, the waitress took time to explain the items in English- we took her advice on what to eat and had a really enjoyable meal and the beers complemented the food nicely. Being used to the... More

They opened a new pick-up in Wassenaar. We just ordered and picked it up, Bibi Ketjap, super fat, not well cooked. Sambal Goring Telor, no saus. Two pieces of Ajam Roedjak, €2.50 per piece, the pieces were drum sticks. the sajor was good. we phoned and got as an answer: "so sorry" called the boss in the Hague, he was... More

This is a favourite of mine. It's small and the atmosphere makes it feel more like a family's dining room. Food is really tasty if a little on the expensive side.
