A walk through the historic grand hotel atrium is the only reason to visit. The service at Waves is atrocious and the food expensive and forgettable. We stopped in for lunch. The restaurant - which is an unattractive architectural appendage to the historic hotel- was...More

We had lunch here, on a hot Saturday in June. Our table by the window had magnificent views - it was Vlaggetjesdag, and you could see all the ships go by. We had a fantastic bisque for starter, and a salad and pasta for mains;...More

Disappointing Holiday dinner. I made a reservation in advance but they seated me in the lounge area instead of the restaurant then things went from bad to worse. I had to complain to three people before things got better. In the end the waitstaff in...More

We arrived for dinner at 7.30. We had previously booked the monday before. Throughout the night there were a grand total of seven couples there. The restaurant holds over 200 covers. There was seven members of staff milling around doing nothing. We had to wait...More

Description
Waves is a restaurant, bar & conservatory with the biggest terrace in Scheveningen. Our head chef serves you the most delicious dishes, and our view does the rest. Waves regularly organizes special evenings. If the weather is fine, our bartender is on hand to prepare the coolest cocktails on our outdoor bar while our chef heats up the barbecue.
