The good reviews made me curious so i went there and see what is true. Well...it is a nice place, food is good and the experience is great. First time i tried Ethiopean and must say its tasty food, lots of spices and nice dishes. The restaurant has a nice decoration with African statues, subjects...simple in fact but perfect for... We had dinner here on a Sunday night. The place was packed, which is a good sign. Friendly service, a bit on the slow side towards the end. The food was good and tasty. Drinks were ok but red wine was too cold. Prices were very decent. All in all, nice place, nice meal but not unforgettable.

Four of us attended and we ordered one plate for two and one single plate and this was plenty for four. The double was a mix on meat and vegetables in a large dish with a layer of Ethiopian unleavened bread to soak up the juices. The other dish was chicken and we had an Ethiopian tomato salad as a... Well, it's fun eating with your hands! Children loved it. Good selection of veggie "dishes" The presentation of the food is different: everything arrives in a large basket. All food is shared, you all eat out of the basket. The quality of the food is ok, but basic. And you should order a starter or else a dessert....

Cosy, small restaurant with tasty food and delicious fresh made coffee (that smell! - covers the whole restaurant though) I have been here for a few times now, love the Ethiopian food. Sometimes you need to wait a bit (for drinks, for the bill), but excellent price-quality. Toilet is upstairs, not accessible for wheelchairs.

This restaurant is definetely a nice food experience with family or just in couple. You shared the food and instead of eating with a fork you eat with the injera (teff pancake). My 2 year old son loved it, but don't expect the same taste as french pancakes. I like it anyway as well the different dishes you can order.... More

It was the first time we went here and for my husband also the first time eating Ethiopian food. We enjoyed the 'Tej' as aperitif, though the little bottle came with a certain smell. We had the Special Little Ethiopia combination, which was ok, though next time we would probably order a meat combination. Service was a bit slow, especially... More

The food was amazing, service just great, and the atmosphere incredible. I felt really worm and welcome in this tiny hideaway in Antwerpen. Would recommend it to everyone.

One's taste in food is a subjective matter, but judging from the food quality during a recent visit to this restaurant, Ethiopian cuisine is NOT my cup of tea. I tried the Samdusa, similar to the Indian samosa, it tasted ok...The main course is two stews that came with a bunch of injera, a sourdough pancake. Since everything is eaten... More
