What do you do on a cold, rainy day in Antwerp. Drop into De Godevaart for lunch. What a great surprise. Great food and warm and attentive service. Why not a Michelin star? Who knows, but don't let the Michelin rating fool you. This chef can cook, and cook he does. Fresh ingredients incorporated into interesting preparations and presentations. From... More

Great location, atmosphere sophisticated and classy, quite unique to be honest. Dishes are classy as well, but price is not justified, also considering choice limitation and no flexibility to build the multiple courses menu. I don't think I will go again.

What an experience. A small and cosy restaurant, with a thumbs up menu. We choose for a five courses dinner, with adjusted wines for each course. It was pure magic what was been served. even if I thought like ...hhmm, these ingredients, I will not like it.... but the merge of the different flavors.... what an experience.... especially when the... We found this restaurant by accident. And what a wonderful food experience! We choose to have 4 dishes menu because we had to return to Brussels the same evening. We got two appetizers which were pieces of kitchen art and very delicious. All our courses were excellent and the wine was chosen perfectly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. That... More

We were spending three days in Antwerp to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday and, after much research, I chose this restaurant for his actual birthday dinner. And what a great choice it was! It's a very small and charming place with delightful and professional service. They even provide a little box for women to put their handbags on! Most clients... More

Great dining experience with a careful selection of fresh ingredients and excellent wines. Very attentive and friendly service. The small selection of original dishes on the menu ensures a great quality in the proposed dishes

after reading some of the reviews,I had already an idea what to expect.I was not disappointed, excellent food, service, and lovely wines to compliment each dish.My wife wanted to go for the 5 course,me the 7,so we compromised with the 6.On reflection, probably the 5 is the way to go.It's up to you, whatever you decide, you won't be disappointed.Compliments to the chef.

I take my hat off for this chef. Using seemingly simple ingredients to create dishes I will not easily forget. A starter of old tomato varieties, Burrata, shrimps and tarragon as a new take on the classic dish was heavenly. Accompanying home baked bread was like the famous Maltese bread and the best I've tasted since long times. Strawberries and... More

This was our first visit to De Godevaart in Antwerp and it certainly won’t be our last! We had booked a table there because of the good reviews on trip advisor and we were not disappointed. We loved it and had a fabulous evening. The food was simply fantastic and so was the service. Friendly, attentive and professional, but not... More
