We were en route to Bruges via Eurostar. Stopped in Brussels for lunch and this was recommended by a friend. Only a short walk from the station to the restaurant. Well worth a visit. And do try a glass of gueuze beer, quite extraordinary.

I was eating a hamburger after eating at this restaurant. Beers are very good (selection of trappistes) but even if food is quite good you will not fill your stomach. If you ask for a chicken (min for 2) the chef will put a special song and will show you the gorgeous chicken whilst he's cooking it, but you will... More

I was there for lunch, so we opted for the set lunch menu. This was a very tasty and complete option that allowed us to get a good taste of what this restaurant has to offer for a reasonable price. The asparagus, now in season, served with a shrimp musseline sauce were amazing. The best I've ever tasted. Our sea... More

If your looking for something a little upscale, a little traditional and definitely Belgian for a highly enjoyable dining experience then this is the place. Atmosphere is old school and wide open as floor plans go with a classic wood and brass bar holding center stage as the focal point of the room. Service is prompt, friendly and efficient with... Beautiful setting in a typical Brusselian bistro/restaurant. The chef uses well-considered flavours, sometimes surprisingly good new combinations in traditional dishes. Broad selection of beers: you should try one of them instead of wine... The French fries were not my favourites (brown baked). I guess there's a gastronomic idea behind it, but I just prefer the yellow-gold French fries (just a... More

Ched Dirk surely knows how to make his guests happy! Very typical interior, mildly noisy atmosphere, waiters like in the days of the classic brasseries in Paris, this restaurant has it all. The menu is full of signature dishes, and these are really heaven, but be aware that the chef is using ingredients that not everybody likes ? On the... More

Great food, great service, great beer. For starters, try the ventrèche de porc basque snackée - it's mindblowing.

The restaurant is a gorgeous environment in which to dine and the food is tremendous. Not inexpensive but delicious and great wine list too.

Arrogant and slow service. The food was nothing to write home about. Took the cheeks and was not impressed. Eatable but nothing close to the cost charged. I would not be back.

We ate here back in December and I originally booked it as the location was decent and the menu sounded very good. I wasn't disappointed. The building was formerly a post office, but the decor was very art-nouveau. The wallpaper was slightly dated, with patches of velvet, but it added so much character to the place. It was traditional and... More
