What a disappointment!!!! After reading all the wonderful review. The meatballs were tasteless and the ham all fat. Maybe they we're having a bad night but this was the worst dinner we had in Brussels.

Unfortunately this time the waiters were different than all the previous times I went there and significantly less good than usual... fortunately food and beers still so good! It's always a pleasure to go there to have excellent dishes and awesome beers among the 70 or more different beers.

Just had dinner here, this restaurant is really close to the main square in Old Town Brussels. They don't take reservations, but we went a bit early for dinner. They have an amazing Belgian Beer list, so many to choose from. I had the Veal Meatballs in a white beer cream sauce, with haricots vert, and hubby had the Pork... More

We stayed in Brussels for 3 days total, and this place was so good we went there twice! The restaurant is small and cozy. The staff is very friendly and professional. They know their drink and food menu very well and can answer any questions you have. All of the food we tried was amazing. There were so many things... More

I'm a tourist. I wanted to book a table beforehand. But this restaurant doesn't accept a reservation. So I was waiting near the restaurant until it opens. I told the staff my preference of beer. He recommended me two types of beer. I tried them a little and I liked saison dupont. So I ordered it and carbonnades or beef... More

Hanging out for some Belgian stoemp this trip and arrived here upon a friend's recommendation. I had a deliciously tasty carrot and orange soup of the day to start followed by the rabbit fricasse with a side of stoemp! Washed down with a seasonal beer, now time to wander around and walk lunch off!

Sadly this place has excellent reviews but both the food and service were substandard. First we arrived at about 10pm (open until 1130 per their door) and were told no starters because the service was almost over. We thought no big deal and sat down. When we got the menu the guy proceeded to cross off about half of the... More

Easily the best meal I had while in Brussels. Thoroughly enjoyed the veal meatballs with Belgian fries. No reservations so be prepared to wait a bit for a table. Also, your bill must be more than €20 to pay by credit card, otherwise you need to use cash.

On our trip to Brussels I really wanted to try Bouef Carbonade du Flamande and after some research found this place as recommended to the best! No booking possible so we arrived at about 6 and was told we would have to wait for half an hour for a table, no problem we stood at the bar and had a... More
