It's the first place we stumbled upon in Brussels, and maybe this is a bit subjective, but the atmosphere was very nice, felt authentic, not tourist-trap-ish. Really good tea, although not a huge selection, and a awesome sandwich for only 4 euro. They also have...More

After seeing a lot of great reviews about this place we decided to stop by after seeing the flea market. The front door was open and there were one or two other people inside, just sitting at the tables. Not eating or drinking. After sitting...More

This Cafè is really nice from many point of view. First of all, the location: it is situated in the city center in a cool square. Also the food (traditional belgian food) and beers are really good. The place is cozy, quiet, and cheap. Recommended.

The cafe and bar is located in the quarter of the Marolles. Parking on the street is possible but sparse. They have a large inside and outside dining area. The inside is decorated with a lot different chairs, tables and signs. We had coffee and...More

Smashing place on the corner of the square next to the flea market in Jeu de Balle. Not made to look old and interesting (you know who you are in the south of England), but genuinely just as it has evolved over time. Family run...More

A perfect refuge from the busy flea market near by, this cafe had welcoming staff and a good selection of beers. Although we didn't order food, the open kitchen looked clean and smelled amazing. I'd definitely eat there. Free wifi to boot too! ... code...More

A true neighbourhood, locals bar with no pretensions or frills. Classic cafe with bric-a-brac abounding including a dark wooden model of a building of sorts hanging out from over the bar. Food is excellent value and the sandwiches huge. A must-visit place.

If you're in the neighbourhood ("De Marollen") do stop. A very authentic place with a good selection of belgium beers combined with one of the best hamburgers we had for some time.

Spotted in one of the most authentic area of Bruxelles, if you're a tourist or just going down to Sablon, you should be better to stop in the corner. La Brocante, its design, its atmosphere, its beer and its chicons a gratin are simply one...More
