Really nice and vibrant atmosphere. Heaving with tourists and locals. Found it slightly disordered with table set up but the waiter was fantastic. Fromage & beer what can possibly go wrong, eh! Very old fashioned, felt like traveled back in time.

Beautiful restaurant and good food. The toilets were stinking that day and we were seated in the back room near them. I asked nicely to be moved because there were other seats open but the waiter wouldn't give them to us saying they were reserved. I had my coat on to leave when he reluctantly moved a regular from his... More

I'm a tourist from Japan. I booked a table through the Internet beforehand. I loved the atmosphere of this old fashioned cafe. There are wide range of belgian beers. I tried half & half and authentic Belgian cuisine, water zooi. I loved beautiful interior, nice food, nice location and friendly staffs.

I tried Belgian waterzooi, a traditional chicken stew. It was just average to my taste. But the old waiter there was quite friendly and welcoming though he mostly spoke French even if he knew that I could not understand it. This sort of thing often happens in Europe, so I do not mind. I suppose they try to be local... More

Lovely old fashioned bar/restaurant, waiters in their black and white dress, elderly ladies sipping their wine. Loads of history. Sit outside and people watch. order a half and half and relax.

If you are out in central Brussels and want the local coffee bar feel with roots that are a bit more genuine than the average Starbucks tourist trap - go to Le Cirio. Waiters, smart elderly ladies drinking coffee and the local gentlemen stumbling in for another beer. Relaxed, heritage in a classical setting - just what I was looking... More

Unchanged since the mid 19th Century, Le Cirio offers beers and wine in an impressive setting, next to te Bourse. Great for people grazing.

A wonderful restaurant/bar established in 1886. It has retained most of its original features so it's like stepping back in time. The waiters are so attentive, helpful and funny. We loved it here.

Wide range of belgian beers served in spotless, gleaming glasses and at reasonable prices!. Many of the waiters have been here for years. The food is fresh and very good value for the location.
