Seems like popular spot for tourists, and because of that it is quite busy most of the time. It effects the service level and makes you feel a bit of conveyor: you have to wait for 15-20 minutes on the stairs to be seated. Desserts are delicious, prices might be a bit high, but it is reasonable for a place... More

This place can get quite busy! We went immediately after our Sandesman tour and got a spot upstairs. We ordered one Brussels with Ice Cream and avocaat and one Leige with fruit sauce. The Belgians love their sweets! The Brussels waffle is easy the best waffle I've ever had. It was crispy but not flaky and went really well with... More

Waffles and cookies. That's you get when you enter this old fashioned bakery. Plain and simple - but in loads of varieties! Expect to wait 15-30 minutes to be seated.

Don't bother! Sat for 30 minutes before we ordered. 60 minutes in total to get our drinks and waffles which were good but not worth it. Supposed to be the best waffles around? I say the whole experience is what counts. The waiter shouted at my husband and I in front of his manager and was aggressive and rude! Oh... More

The service was indifferent, almost as if we were an interruption. The waffles dry and tasteless and pricey given what we received. We had exponentially better waffles in Brugges at Lizzies Wafels. For us, not worth the visit.

I can't say enough good things about Maison Dandoy. My husband and I ate here twice during our recent trip to Brussels. The only reason we didn't eat here every day was because of time constraints. These waffles are unlike anything I've ever had in the US. Truly not to be missed if you're in Brussels!

We had to queue a little, but the wait was totally worth it. Despite being a bit expensive, their waffles are worth every cent. The liege waffle, in particular, was supreme and more than enough to grant a top rating. Their offer of teas, on the other hand, is without praise or blame, wouldn't recommend them.

What more can I say? The waffles are fantastic. Do yourself a favor and sit down upstairs in the dining room and order some liege waffles. I promise that you won't regret it.

I was here on a day trip and this was something I wanted to try. Waiter was friendly, took our orders and it came out quick. It was busy but never felt rushed even though he was working solo. I'll make sure to come by every time I come through Brussels. The waffles Belgian waffles are so light, I wish... More

So you ask for hot chocolate – it is more like melted drinkable chocolate – thick, rich, chocolately to the max (is there any milk/cream in here)???? Yeah – it’s that good. Admittedly I like chocolate – not love chocolate – to me this much ‘goodness’ needs to be shared – it’s just too rich. With that said – would... More
