Wow - am writing this review after having eaten at this restaurant with my family. Just to note - I didn't read the reviews on this restaurant before writing this one - otherwise we probably wouldn't have gone there. We had a tour guide mention that this was a good restaurant (and in looking - see that the company does... More

Myself and my fiance were hungry and we got lured in here for dinner by staff out on the street. We were handed the a la carte menu by the Waiter when we first entered and when we asked for the set menu (€18 deal) the waiter got visibly annoyed at us. Service was so bad and the food was... More

Where to start with this one is the question i am asking myself! The surrounding places were jammed busy and we were starving so opted for this place The set menus seamed ok so we decided we would try them. After waiting about 35minutes for our salt riddled starter the employees decided to have a full blown argument with each... More

The side streets around the Grande Place are stuffed with tourist restaurants, all offering moules frites in an almost bewildering variety of forms. This is one of the better ones - fine mussels and a good ambience, with attentive service (at least at a quiet time!). The frites could have been more plentiful and crisper, but the mussels were fine... More

We have ordered 2 meals which “in the menu” cost 12.5 euros ,with 3 dishes , including appetizers - coroquette, which are extremely salty , then we ordered fish fillet and mussels, mussels are smelly which means that it is not fresh, the fish fillet is very small and not enough to fill my stomach, the fries is soft and... Four of us visited for evening meal fillet steak was tough and then I found fat in it. It definitely was not fillet steak I complained to the waiter and was ignored after 10 minutes I went looking for someone and they took my plate away saying nothing returned about 15 minutes later with two pieces of real fillet no... Food was ok, I enjoyed my desert the most followed by appetizer (baked mussels) and lastly the main... The fish was cooked in a cream sauce which didn't flatter the fish.. Ambience was nice probably bcos I was sitting alone at a corner next to the bar... Probably bcos I was alone I was offered 2 glasses of muscat from... More

We were lured in by the outside "bouncer" promising us free drinks to our meal. After some hesitation we sat down and had our meal. But guess what the wine was not for free. They wanted to charge us 5 euro per glass. We refused of course. And when we explained that their bouncer had promised us free wine, the... More

I visited last September as a solo diner on a Friday night. I had taken a bus day trip from Amsterdam and had a short amount of time to eat dinner and tour Brussels. Truthfully, I was overwhelmed by all of the restaurant choices in the area and the aggressive "carnival barker" method of getting people in the door. I... More
