I went into this bistrot late, at about 10.30 pm and they were still serving, which was great news as I was starving - a late arrival in Brussels and my hotel didn't have any restaurant or room service! I had the onglet de boeuf irlandais (Irish beef) which was cooked perfectly to my a point taste, it was juicy... More

Quaint bistro with divine food! They used the freshest ingredients and you could taste the "homemade" quality, we ordered the croquette with shrimps and the vol au vant and it was absolutely delicious. Finished every last bit and licked my spoon. Highly recommend it to anyone in the vicinity!!

This restaurant served us one of the most delicious meals that I have ever tasted. Great staff, great location (we stayed in meininger hotel) and fantastic food at a very reasonable price. I visited the restaurant with three other friends (one of whim is vegan) and we were all so impressed that I have come on TripAdvisor to give my... More

My wife and I just arrived at our Airbnb place and heading out for our dinner and found this beautiful well-decor French restaurant just opposite from where we stayed. Amazing food!

Went with a group of 16 (8 kids under 13 and parents). Service and quality of food for the adults were spot on, menu choice for the kids was a bit limited to keep things simple but sufficient. Would certainly recommend!

Lively restaurant near the Canal in Brussels. The food is simple but nice and prices are really OK! I highly recommend Wednesday nights when you can enjoy tasty wines at the wine bar on the outside of the Bistro.

Visited again on a relatively quiet Saturday evening. The service was exemplary. The menu featured numerous new intriguing options. The complimentary bread and extra virgin olive oil are the same outstanding appetiser. Wine advice - from the interestingly affordable wine list - was competent and spot on; the fruity Roussillon proved a perfect companion to our lamb casserole and traditional... More

in the hipster Dansaert Area, on the verge of Molenbeek and Brussels, Bisto du Canal offers a hint of Lyon at a very affordable price. In this cosy and "chaleureux" restaurant you'll find very tasty French dishes.
