On new years day myself and seven friends visited Abrussel. On first inspection it's was quite a small place. The majority of our table ordered steak, but there was a problem when they arrived as all of the sauces were mixed up. So we had to figure out who's was who's. Every steak that was served was extremely rare and... More

Thank you for the great Jambonneau and in time delivery. Although I have to remark the fries were really saggy. You should pierce several (20+-) holes in the container so no steam can build up. That way even take away clients will have crispy fries! Also if your beers were reasonably priced I would have bought three. 7€ is way... More

A small restaurant with nice street view and lovely intimate atmosphere. Delicious mussels cooked Brussels style with special Belgian beer. Service was good too. Recommended for a Belgian experience!

dinner would be 4 stars but lunch was a 2. i visited abrussel for dinner and lunch. dinner was great, i believe it was the owner at the restaurant who was very helpful. charming appetizer followed by slightly tough steak. made with passion by the chef. i think lunch was served by the owner's son, with a different chef. the... We had an excellent authentic meal here with the family. I had a really yummy stew and other members of the family had some other traditional food. Of course, I had some Belgium beer :)

It's a very cosy restaurant with only few tables inside. My husband ordered a beef steak which was cooked perfectly and my veal meatballs in brown sweet and sour sauce were delicious. Our deserts were also great, I had a chocolate mousse and my husband brown sugar pie. The selection of beers could be better. Although I found the food... More

We went here for the mussels and had great food and super service. We had the mussels with a curry sauce and a traditional beer sauce. Both were great (as were the frites)! I opted for a glass of the house white wine and it paired quite well. We would definitely return!

We were looking for place to try traditional Belgian cousine and found this restaurant. My boyfriend had stoemp and I took waterzooi with chiken , both were nicely cooked and we enjoyed good service and coziness of the place. Plates that was ordered by other people also looked very nice.

Abrussel is a lovely little place. Warm, friendly atmosphere, very efficient service and the food was excellent - really delicious. This was the best restaurant we visited during a 3 day visit to Brussels.

This might have been due to us being a large group which they could not cope with. Meat of some was raw and for some terribly overcooked. The fries were cooked on extremely old oil and smelled bad. The creme brule was swimming in oil....why? And when I hoped for at least a nice cup of coffee it was really... More

Open from monday until sunday for lunch and dinner. ABrussel is a small restaurant only working with a small menu who is changing every month. Cuisine is simple, with a classic or more inventive choice. There is always a vegetarian choice available, as a Fish and a Belgian choice. We try to make our service friendly but not strict. Abrussel kids groups until 55 person. Possibility of privatisation of the first floor or the whole restaurant.
