We chose this restaurant on a recommendation and were not disappointed. The food choices were good with a lovely salmon in grapefruit and honey and a delicious prawn salad. Desserts were huge and luscious and most welcome even after the huge portions for starters and...More

I ate here one warm Saturday evening with my son, who had a craving for fish. This was readily if expensively satisfied (€35 for a sole) but it is a very pleasant spot in a nice part of the city, and, most unusually for Brussels,...More

This restaurant never fails to amaze. Great location, but noisy if you are eating on the terrace and worse if you are inside. Great Belgian classics served with professional indifference. Service can be very slow outside traditional eating hours, despite advertising a non-stop cuisine. Today...More

Ok it's not cheap, but it's at a prime location in a posh area of the city, near a very nice park and the food, the staff and the atmosphere are just perfect. It's very well frequented, so the staff is used to deal with...More

Belgium tradition is here. Whenever I go it is a pleasure. You can find tradition, the place seem like an old saloon. Duck and fries are absolutely good. Oyster as fresh as possible. Quite expensive but worthy for the quality.

Wide selection of fresh seafood prepared various ways. Wonderfully large outdoor dining arrangement and pleasant staff. Service was somewhat slow - for two courses we were there 2.5 hours - so schedule appropriately for a dining "event."

I had one of the best steaks I have ever eaten here(and that covers a lot of territory). Sirloin with a mustard sauce! Cooked medium rare. Could not have been better. Service was sketchy even though I was with a local. Wine list was limited...More

What a great restaurant mainly known for their fish menu. Excellent service, the best oysters in a long time and a lobster as good as in Boston ! They also have excellent meat so it's not only for fish lovers. And also try the home...More

Brasseries Georges is an institution in Brussels. It is pretty much THE Brasserie, when you ask most locals. The food is very good and so is the service. The restaurant itself can be quite cramped though and on popular nights, parking can be a challange....More

This is a classic Belgian brasserie with great seafood and steaks. The environment is quite busy and decorated in classic art noveau style. I had some lovely fine de claire oysters for starter followed by a great steak with pepper and bearnaise sauce. There is...More
