Unfortunately I needed to rush a little bit the thing when I was in Brussels and for lunch I stumbled upon this restaurant and I've been very happy. Why? First of all it has a pretty unique Art Nouveau style. You can choose within many types of salads and pitas (more than 50 I would say). So definitely you can... More

This central address (close to the "Place du Grand Sablon") was (!!!) still in recent times rather pleasant, for inhabitants and tourists. These good times are probably over: - the several sauces accompanying the most popular "pitta" dish became banal, not tasty; - service is correct, not more (the waiters have to deal with a full room, and the music... The menu at Le Perroquet is always so inventive, and the portions are so reasonable for the price. The Iberique pita with chorizos was truly delectable, and the companion sauces are always an added treat.

A pita for people who don't know what a pita is or who are afraid to go to a real pita bar . Monolingual slow "service" , glasses smell the dishwasher , avoid to drink wine and if you HAVE to go there eat a salad . The place looks 'nice' but do the effort to look around and you... More

Le Perroquet has been there for ages and never disappoints. Great with friends. Pita with beef, grilled meet, chicken, fish (have 2!) or have a bigger salad ... Don't forget to have an ice cream!!

Was expecting a fast inexpensive lunch and reasonable good food - got much more than expected. Friendly service, varied menu, and DELICIOUS food. Literally craved it for days maybe even weeks afterwards. Can't say enough good things.

After a walk in the sun we stumbled on this little cafe on the corner and the seating outside looked so welcoming. It serves simple food and beer and coffee. Service is quick and friendly and it is off the beaten track so is not expensive. A super little authentic cafe.

I've lived in Brussels for more than three years, and it's my favourite cafe so far. I think the fact that it is always busy speaks for itself. Bars and cafes across the street disappear and new ones appear on their places but Le Perroquet has been there for what seems like ages. It is located in a very nice... More

Wide range of nice pitas, even vegetarian, with all possible sauces. Typical Brussels bistrot with young atmosphere. Very interesting Art Nouveau building in the heart of Sablon. Worth a visit. However, next time I will try something else than pita.

What an amazing eatery. Plenty of vegetarian options, great food and great service. Highly recommended if you are in Brussels. The pitas and fillings are too good!
