Cosy little restaurant, a bit hidden, but very central. Food excellent (I enjoyed the vegetarian dishes), very nice service.

We spend a really nice evening with a group of friends in that nice restaurant with a very good central location. The personnel was really nice and helpful, they took care of all the guests, we felt at home. The food was good, we all tasted different dishes and we were satisfied.

Soul is a nice little restaurant. The restaurant does not appear to be bigger than an average apartment, so you sit quite close in a small room. The food is organic and of high quality. Like with many 'fancy' restaurants, I found the portion sizes a bit small, but as the food is of a very high quality it also... More

Although the selection of Soul was made by local friends from Brussels- their choice was absolutely wonderful! The intimate setting combined with extremely friendly servers and a menu of healthy choices fully met our needs and preferences. My wife and I each had the lentil burger and loved it. We would thoroughly recommend this restaurant to others seeking excellent organic... More

Great place for lovers of veggie and organic dishes, tucked away in a cosy hideout in the heart of Brussels.

After having seen the positive comments here on the site I was looking forward to trying out "le Soul" myself. While the location and the interior are very nice, I found the food and the service disappointing. The restaurant is not really vegetarian, starters are basically small portions of the anyhow small main dishes. Ingredients seemed fresh, taste was ok... More

I chose this restaurant because i am celiac and i found on internet that they had some gluten free choices for starters and mains on their menu. Great ambience, friendly stuff, helpful with my sensitivity, plates some were good and some very good.

We chose this restaurant because members of our party are gluten free, dairy free and/or sugar free. We all found delicious starters and mains on their menu. They are very accommodating of special needs.

Worth finding, use a satnav if you're not from Brussels. Delicious vegetarian food, comfortable surroundings, relaxed atmosphere, good service. It did it for us!

Getting there was a bit of an adventure - the neighbourhood was a little unusual and the restaurant seemed out of place. We had booked, and were glad as the place was full. Which probably isn't difficult, it's a very small (cosy?) venue. The server was very friendly, and her English was great. She seemed confident in knowing what was... More

Description
Soul is a unique restaurant near Brussels’ Sablon, the brainchild of two expat Finnish sisters dedicated to creating meals that heal. Seriously. Almost everything at this comfortable, stylish restaurant is organic and you’ll not find any butter or refined sugar. What you will find are mood menus, like the Happy Menu or the Cleansing Menu, as well as set menus and weekly specials, and dishes specified for purposes like curing migraine. You’ll also find organic beers, wines, champagne and juices. Dishes include starter of mussels and lentils with garlic and white wine, main course of chilli beef noodles, and dessert of carrot cake. The dining room features typical Belgian décor, with wooden wainscoting, ochre walls, wooden seating and tables, and food-themed prints on the walls. Groups up to 35 can take it over and enjoy the food, then adjourn to dance it off at Havana. Good food, no guilt.
