We were in the area and decided to give the fries a try. They had a selection of many different sauces and the fries were good! However, I would not go to this area only to taste the fries, they were not that special.

This is a standalone place without any area to sit. They serve many other things but hey - go there for a bunch of great fries! the prices are like 3-5 EUR so not very much like for this kind of place. It is freezing outside? do not worry - many places around offers you to sit indoor with your... More

We stood in line for an hour in -3 degrees. There were only two employees handling the orders and around 100 people standing in line. When we finally got our fries, they weren't exceptional. The good thing is that neighboring cafes allowed customers to bring in their fries. It was very convenient to eat them in a warm place. But... More

After hearing great things and that it was supposedly one if the best places for frites, we gullably waited an hour in the freezing cold to try some. There were two queues of around 30 people (yes we counted- again we were there a LONG time). It was so very, very slow. I can't understand why it took that long.... More

Very good quality, crunchy fries, great croquettes. I initially thought the only downside is eating outside, especially in winter. However bar nearby allows all of the food in as long as you buy beers from them. Probably would not eat this everyday as this is still deep fried but excellent option for every now and then finger food!

I read the reviews and as it was close to where we were staying , we walked there . It was a bit confusing when we got to the location , as we were looking for an actual restaurant. But this place is in the middle and actually a fast food permanent building with all the menus stuck on the... More

We loved the fries, the price is really good and you can have it and eat in some restaurants in front of the place but you must buy something to drink in there. The only problem it was really cold and the queues were long and slow, though.

Our friends told us this must be the place French fries were born. It can be true. Home-made chips with variety of sauces are perfectly prepared and presented. You can sit and enjoy them in a opposite restaurant where you can get a pint of beer since maison antoine is in fact a hut offering freshment. Will be definitely back.

Set this place as a part of you day travel itinerary in Brussels! Really worth to wait in the queue for a few minutes, because you get unique paper cup with fries and you can choose a variety of sauces!!

One of the more famous take-away frites institutions in Brussels, where German Chancellor Merkel queued for chips in 2015. I had a delicious large serving for about €3, served in a cornetto-shaped paper cup. They offer all sorts of accompanying sauces but my serving was fine with just salt. There's often a queue, but after the lunchtime rush on a... More
