a bottle of sancerre that was not recognizably close to its region's name (was it a sweet riesling?) fishsoup that was rather bland monkfish that made me feel sick, overcooked andno structure left in what should be a beautiful cut, a mixup of sauce and mash, awful colour presentation. tomates crevettes: wonder where the crevettes were farmed - a sweet... Excellent food - the mussels are Devine! Fantastic service. Very friendly typical Brussels Bistro atmosphere. A must do. Nice variety of food and the beverage menu has choice!

"Average" to me is not bad at all, but I have high expectations, when I come for food in Brussels, in this area. Things could be better: our food was delicious, but was served every time and for everyone (4 people) served lukewarm. A pity. The place was packed with people and it has a good reputation, so I am... More

The place is quite crowded. We had to wait a while before getting our order taken. We ordered a fruits de mer. Good portion. Not cheap but very fresh and good quality. Certainly worth a visit when you like a good fish in Brussels.

Unlike many restaurants in a big city, this establishment is not teeming with tourists. Mostly the locals visit this place, which specializes in fish and sea fruit. So, if you enjoy fish (the mashed potatoes the broccoli and the wine were surprisingly tasty as well), it's a very nice place to spend an evening at. The bottom line is that... More

Good basic fare but not outstanding. There were limited set menu choices. The location is very nice, especially in good weather.

I believe I have rated this restaurant 2-3 years ago as excellent for the quality of food and service. I am sorry to say that my last visit left much to be desired. Maybe the management has been influenced by the hardship all restaurants suffer after the Brussels Airport bombing. In any case I did not enjoyed my meal here... More

We have been advised this restaurant by the both tourist information and Fodor's book for eating mussels. But honestly it was the worst I have ever tried, such a shame since it's basically a national Belgian dish! Didn't taste anything and felt like it was just boiled in water instead of wine with garlic and herbs!!! We also tried other... More

I love the interior and ambiance of the place. Bistro style, brasserie service. Welcoming staff, a perfect start of a promising evening. The menu seemed like a good deal, but since my partner wished something different we ate "à la carte". The starter was perfect, but unfortunately the main course was dissappointing. Really hard to understand or accept in a... More
