What a find,we had thought everything came with "frites" beautiful little restaurant ,impeccable service and a fabulous menu. Amousebouche were delightful the scampi With citrus and honey was outstanding and the Ray in beurre noisette was perfectly cooked. Simply a very very good restaurant. I

The l'Ecailler is specialised in seafood. We took the three course menu for 39 € with tuna as a starter, gilthead as a main course and tiramisu as dessert. All in all: good quality, but without any 'sexy thrilling'. Wide variety of wines - Sancerre very good, but overpriced (8€ per glas). Service with good attitudes and willingness of using... More

My wife had the dorado which was superb. I had six fines de claires oysters ( perfect ) and the veal cutlets which was delightful. The atmosphere is great the service perfect and the cleanliness of the establishment obvious. A great restaurant specializing in fish.

i just had a 100 euro lunch at l Ecailler. The food was excellent. However..how nice would it have been that in stead of leaving you standing at your table once you have paid, someone hands you your jacket ( i had to go and look for it myself) and someone opens the door to see you out!!! ( They... More

A great restaurant with a nice terrace. We had a 3-course meal for 39 Euro and the food was amazing. Good service although we would have like some more time between the dishes..

Beautiful interior, very friendly and correct staff, lovely food. The little amuse-geule was a very pleasant surprise.

Too fancy for me. a bit too "provincial" also. Decor is good so is the cuisine but management is terrible with surly gentleman in charge that has done this too long that he forgot he was in the hospitality industry. What a shame! Be careful of attitude there.

You enter an empty restaurant and the waiter asks: have you reserved? Pretty stupid. Anyway the restaurant never was more than half full. We were looked at as some poor illegals. Only after having ordered first, main course with wine did the waiters do their best to serve us. We found it disturbing that the headwaiter didnt propose to my... More

Very professional restaurant with outdoor and indoor seating and excellent friendly and helpful staff. Disappointed we only had one night to eat here. Would certainly go back again if staying in Liege. Asked the Maitre'D if we could have a table outside without booking. Although never cracking a smile (professional?) he sat us at a table for two. There were... More
